Product Description
nVent SCHROFF 16230-008 Novastar Series 20U Floor Standing Server Cabinet constructed with robust steel in a grey finish, measures 945mm in height, 553mm width, and 800mm depth. It is engineered to accommodate 19 inch server racks, making it ideal for organized IT hardware mounting.
The cabinet features a slim but strong die-cast aluminium frame with quick release steel side panels that facilitate easy access to mounted equipment. Designed to support static loads up to 200 kg across rack units 9U to 25U, the cabinet offers reliable structural integrity for server installations.
Ingress Protection rating IP20 provides effective defense against solid objects exceeding 12.5 mm diameter while not protecting against liquids. The front door is available separately and features a 180° opening angle, enabling unhindered access with the option to secure equipment.
The Novastar series server cabinet adheres to IEC-61587-1 environmental and safety standards, making it suitable for demanding industrial, data center, laboratory, manufacturing, and telecommunications environments. The included earthing kit ensures proper grounding and safety compliance.
Supplied components include the aluminium extrusion frame with 19 inch cut-outs, two 1mm thick steel side panels with twist-lock catches (color coded RAL 7035 or RAL 7021), a flush top cover, four feet for stable mounting, and an earthing kit. Additional accessories such as doors, shelves, base plates, bases/plinths, slide rails, and castors are sold separately to tailor the installation to operational requirements.
