4D Systems gen4-4DCAPE-50CT-CLB LCD Colour Display Module is a high-quality 5 inch LCD display with capacitive touch designed specifically for integration with the BeagleBone Black development platform. It provides a vibrant 800 x 480 pixel color display with an LED backlight, ensuring clear and bright visuals for embedded and industrial applications.

The display module connects effortlessly to BeagleBone Black via the included 4DCAPE adaptor and a 30-way flat-flex cable, drawing power and video signals directly from the main board without any additional wiring. The capacitive touch controller features a FocalTech chipset, enabling precise touch input communication over I2C, ideal for interactive user interfaces.

This model includes a pre-installed cover lens bezel which facilitates mounting without additional hardware and secures the display using adhesive, making it convenient for prototyping and production environments. Its viewing area measures 108 x 65 mm, optimized for compact embedded systems.
