Product Description

Molex 43045-1618 Micro-Fit 3.0 Series straight surface PCB header is a high-quality wire-to-board connector designed for compact power distribution with up to 5 A current capacity and 250 V voltage rating. This model features 16 contact points arranged in 2 rows with a 3 mm pitch spacing, utilizing a shrouded design for enhanced mechanical protection and secure latching during mating.

The connector housing is constructed of thermoplastic UL 94V-0 liquid crystal polymer, capable of withstanding IR reflow soldering temperatures up to 265°C. Brass contacts plated with tin provide durability and corrosion resistance. The straight orientation and surface mount termination type with solder tabs ensure robust electrical and mechanical connection to the PCB.

Operating temperatures range from -40°C to 125°C, making this connector suitable for demanding environments including industrial, military commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), solar power systems, medical equipment, telecommunications, gaming terminals, and consumer electronics such as washers and refrigerators.
