SICK deTec4 Core Series Light Curtain Receiver deTec4 is designed for Type 4 safety applications, featuring a 14 mm beam resolution and operating at 24 V DC. This receiver is engineered to provide dependable presence detection with a protective height of 300 mm and a maximum protective width and scanning distance of 8 meters, ensuring reliable safeguarding of machinery in industrial environments.

The device incorporates an innovative mounting bracket system with a half-rounded contour housing, enabling flexible bracket positioning and eliminating blind zones. Its integrated LED display supports convenient, real-time diagnostics, while automatic distance measurements and calibration of the protective field width up to 10 meters simplify setup and reduce installation costs.

Constructed with IP65 and IP67 rated enclosures, the receiver is suitable for use in harsh industrial environments and operates effectively at ambient temperatures ranging from -30°C to +55°C.
