EAO 31-483.036 Illuminated Push Button Switch is designed as a versatile component for use in Human Machine Interface (HMI) panel mounting within industrial environments. The product features a button-type actuator with options in round (18mm diameter), square (18×18mm), or rectangular (18×24mm) bezels. It accommodates panel thicknesses from 1.5mm to 6mm, necessitating a 16mm panel cutout for installation. The switch's snap action element utilizes a self-cleaning, double-break mechanism with solder terminals to provide rapid, reliable switching performance.

Illumination options include a T1 ¾ midget groove filament lamp or a single chip LED, operating within 6V to 48V, with external series resistor required above 48V supply. The low level switching element supports electronic circuits with current ranges from 10μA at 100μV up to 100mA at 42Vac/dc, suited for low-power signalling. The housing and actuator are made from self-extinguishing materials complying with Class II standards, ensuring safety and durability.

The switch exhibits electrical strength of 2500Vac at 50Hz for one minute between all terminals and earth, conforming to IEC 60512-2-11.
