KEMET OHD5R-35B SPST Through Hole Reed Switch features a maximum switching current of 100 mA and maximum switching voltage of 30 V dc. This reed switch uses a nickel iron alloy contact material and is designed for through hole mounting with wire terminals, making it ideal for PCB assembly. It boasts compact dimensions of 6.7 mm length, 5 mm width, and 19.1 mm depth with an operational temperature range between -20°C and 150°C.
This product belongs to the OHD Thermal Guard series, incorporating a temperature-sensitive soft ferromagnetic substance known as Thermorite®. Its unique design effectively counters thermal problems by decreasing magnetic flux density as temperature rises, turning paramagnetic at the Curie temperature.
The switch is highly reliable for on/off applications, offering a high-speed response and long operational life. It is corrosion-proof, dust-proof, and explosion-proof, suitable for harsh industrial environments.
