Product Description

Contactum 47-SB705025D galvanised steel wall box offers IP66 ingress protection along with high mechanical impact resistance IK10. This wall box measures 700 mm height, 500 mm width, and 250 mm depth, ideally suited for industrial, electrical, automation, and construction applications requiring secure, weatherproof enclosures.

The enclosure body is constructed from high-quality galvanised steel with a powder-coated finish in RAL 7032 grey, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance in harsh environments. The door includes a quarter turn cylindrical lock with durable metal keys and a corner formed design enhancing weatherproof properties.

A CNC machine formed injected polyurethane gasket surrounds the door, delivering reliable sealing against dust and water ingress. The enclosure is fitted with a mounting plate, gland plate, and chassis plate for versatile installation options. Earthing studs on the enclosure and door improve electrical safety.

This wall box conforms to IEC 60529, IEC 62208, and IEC 62262 standards for ingress protection and mechanical impact, making it suitable for demanding industrial settings including electrical distribution, automation, and HVAC systems.
