ifm electronic KG5309 Threaded Barrel Capacitive Proximity Sensor with 30 mm detection range, M18 x 1 thread, and PNP output is engineered for reliable sensing in industrial automation, manufacturing, and process control environments.

The sensor is designed with a rugged threaded barrel body measuring 92.5 mm in length, constructed from polyoxymethylene, polybutylene terephthalate, and polycarbonate for high mechanical and chemical resistance.

Operating voltage is 30 V dc with a maximum switching current of 22 mA, delivering consistent PNP output signals. Its IO-Link communication interface enables easy integration, parameter configuration, and remote diagnostics to optimize system performance.

With an IP rating of IP69K, IP65, and IP67, this sensor can withstand dust, water jets, and immersion, making it suitable for harsh industrial and outdoor conditions. Its operating temperature range from -25°C to 80°C accommodates various medium-temperature applications.
