4D Systems gen4-uLCD-35DCT-CLB is a 3.5-inch LCD colour display touch screen module designed for compact, easy integration into electronic and industrial applications. It displays 320 x 480 pixels with a bright 216 cd/m² LED backlight and offers a capacitive 4-wire touch interface suitable for human-machine interfaces.
The design of the gen4 series provides a slim profile with dimensions of 104.2 mm width, 7.8 mm height, and 73.44 mm depth. It uses a 30-pin zero insertion force (ZIF) connector for simplified integration and includes a micro-SD card slot for expanded multimedia storage and data logging capabilities.
This display module runs from 4 V to 5.5 V with a current draw of 175 mA and can operate in temperature ranges from -10°C to 60°C, making it reliable for various industrial, laboratory, and embedded system applications.
Powered by the embedded Diablo16 processor, the module supports multiple general-purpose input/output (GPIO) channels including configurable analogue outputs and pulse outputs, PWM audio pin, SPI and I2C communication channels, and advanced features like quadrature encoders. It also supports 65k RGB true-to-life colour display with high contrast ratio of 250:1 and full support for Windows fonts, suitable for rich graphical user interfaces.
