Product Description
Hammond 1457J1602 is a high-quality flanged aluminium enclosure combining durability with practical features for industrial and electronic housing. The extruded aluminium body, with a minimum thickness of 1.5 mm, ensures rugged construction and mechanical protection for sensitive equipment or printed circuit boards (PCBs). Sized specifically for standard Eurocards, PCBs can be slid horizontally into internal slots machined directly into the enclosure body for secure mounting.
The diecast aluminium end panels have an integral bezel finished with black satin powder paint, enhancing corrosion resistance and aesthetics. This enclosure is rated IP65, granting protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, making it ideal for demanding environments in electrical automation, manufacturing, and industrial control. The polyethylene foam gasket effectively seals the enclosure, preserving internal components from environmental contamination.
