SICK MZT8-03VNS-KW0 Pneumatic Sensor is a T-slot magnetic cylindrical sensor designed for highly accurate piston position detection in pneumatic actuators, operating at 30V DC with an LED indicator for operational feedback.

This sensor is compatible with all standard cylinders, linear slides, and grippers featuring a T-slot. With adapters, it also fits round rod, tie-rod, profile cylinders, and dovetail groove cylinders. Its insertion from above into the slot allows for rapid, tool-assisted mounting while never requiring removal of cylinder end caps.

Capable of operating in temperatures ranging from -30 °C up to 80 °C, and specifically designed variants withstand up to 100 °C, it ensures reliable performance in challenging thermal environments. The robust polyamide 12 housing and enclosure ratings of IP67, IP68, and IP69K guarantee high resistance to dust, water jets, and steam cleaning, extending sensor lifespan and minimizing downtime.

Employing patented Giant Magneto Resistance (GMR) technology combined with SICK ASIC, the sensor performs highly precise switching, suppressing multiple operations to improve machine effectiveness.
