RS PRO IP66 Shielded Die Cast Aluminium Enclosure model IP66 is a robust protective housing expertly crafted from high-quality die cast aluminium alloy ADC 12 (LM24 to BS1490). This enclosure offers excellent EMI and RFI shielding performance with better than 40 dB screening at 10 MHz and 76 dB at 100 kHz, making it ideal for industrial, electrical, and electronics applications requiring EMI protection.

The enclosure features a natural aluminium finish without external coating, providing flexibility for final surface treatments such as powder coating if desired. Its compact external dimensions of 30 mm height, 60 mm length, and 54.9 mm width enable it to house small PCBs or electronic devices securely. The lid is silver colored, with a 3 mm thickness incorporating a neoprene gasket seal rated from -20°C to +80°C, ensuring an IP66 rating for dust-tight and powerful water ingress resistance. The lid’s unique lipped design and 1.5° taper per side ensure a tight fit.

This enclosure is designed for practical mounting flexibility, incorporating vertical mounting guides and PCB guides on the inner surfaces. The lid fastening uses M3.5 x 9 mm Supadrive countersunk stainless steel screws with a recommended tightening torque of 5.6 kg, ensuring reliable closure and durability.

Compliant with RoHS standards and manufactured in Taiwan, Province Of China, these die cast aluminium enclosures are suitable for housing sensitive industrial and electronic components. They provide both physical protection and EMI/RFI shielding and are capable of withstanding temperatures up to 250°C without structural degradation.
