Microchip EVB-USB4715 USB Smart Hub Evaluation Kit EVB-USB4715 provides a practical and versatile platform for evaluating the USB4715 chip, a high-speed 4-port USB smart hub. Featuring a 25 MHz maximum frequency USB 2.0 interface, this evaluation kit assists engineers and developers in gaining practical insights into the device’s operation and integrating it into their applications.

The evaluation board is built on a 4-layer Printed Circuit Board (PCB) to ensure signal integrity and robust performance during testing. It supports USB 2.0 High-Speed (HS), Full-Speed (FS), and Low-Speed (LS) signalling, making it adaptable for diverse USB communication needs.

This kit is equipped with four downstream USB ports, including two Type-A USB 2.0-only and two Type-C USB 2.0 ports for versatile connectivity options. Additionally, it includes a USB 2.0 micro-AB upstream port. The USB pins are designed to be 5V tolerant, enhancing device durability in various circuit conditions.
