FC10483 Glass Body Refillable pH Electrode with Clogging Prevention System (CPS™), Double Junction, and Quick Connect DIN Connector for high solids applications.
Hanna FC10483 Glass Body Refillable Open Junction pH Electrode is a specialized, high-performance sensor designed for accurate pH measurement in turbid, viscous, and high solids samples such as wine must, fruit juices, and similar food and beverage applications. Engineered with advanced CPS™ (Clogging Prevention System) technology, this electrode minimizes junction clogging and ensures stable, reliable measurements even in challenging sample conditions where conventional electrodes may fail.
Constructed with a durable glass body, the FC10483 provides excellent chemical resistance and allows for easy cleaning, making it suitable for frequent laboratory and industrial use. Its refillable design, utilizing 3.5M KCl electrolyte, enables simple maintenance and extends the operational life of the electrode. The open junction design with ground glass and a movable sleeve enhances electrolyte flow and prevents blockages, ensuring consistent performance in viscous and particulate-rich samples.
The electrode incorporates a double junction Ag/AgCl reference system that reduces contamination from interfering ions, improving accuracy and minimizing drift over time. The spherical dome sensing bulb with an 8 mm diameter ensures optimal sample contact and delivers fast, precise response across a pH measurement range of 0 to 12.
Equipped with an integrated temperature sensor, the FC10483 provides automatic temperature compensation, ensuring accurate readings within a working range of 0 to 80°C. The quick connect DIN connector with a 7-pole, 1 meter cable allows secure and flexible integration with compatible benchtop meters, particularly the HI99111 and similar instruments.
With a compact design featuring a 12 mm outer diameter, 120 mm body length, and 175.5 mm overall length, the electrode fits seamlessly into standard laboratory setups. Its maximum pressure rating of 0.1 bar ensures suitability for typical laboratory and food processing environments.
Widely used in wine production, food and beverage quality control, laboratory analysis, and industrial process monitoring, the Hanna FC10483 pH Electrodes offers exceptional accuracy, durability, and resistance to clogging. Enhance your analytical efficiency with Hanna’s advanced electrode technology, designed for reliable performance in complex sample matrices.
