Hanna HI1043P Refillable Double Junction pH Electrode is a high-precision and durable sensor engineered for accurate pH measurement in demanding laboratory and industrial environments. Designed with a robust glass body, this electrode offers excellent chemical resistance and long-term reliability, making it ideal for handling aggressive and high-temperature samples. With a wide pH measurement range of 0 to 14, it is perfectly suited for applications involving strong acids and bases, hydrocarbons, paints, solvents, seawater, and high-conductivity solutions.
The electrode incorporates a double junction Ag/AgCl reference system that minimizes contamination and significantly extends electrode life, especially when working with complex or contaminated samples. Its high-temperature glass bulb ensures stable and accurate performance up to 100°C (212°F), making it suitable for rigorous industrial processes and laboratory research. The ceramic junction provides a controlled electrolyte flow rate of 15–20 µL/h, ensuring consistent reference potential and dependable measurement results.
Featuring a spherical glass tip with a 9.5 mm diameter, the HI1043P allows optimal contact with samples, delivering fast response and precise readings even in challenging conditions. The compact design, with a 120 mm body length and 12 mm outer diameter, ensures compatibility with standard laboratory glassware and setups, allowing easy handling and installation in various testing environments.
The refillable construction supports the use of 3.5M KCl electrolyte, enabling easy maintenance and extended service life. The electrode is equipped with a 1 m (3.3 ft) coaxial cable and an integrated pin connector, ensuring compatibility with Hanna meters featuring CAL Check functionality. Although it does not include an internal temperature sensor, it works seamlessly with meters that support external temperature probes for compensated measurements. With a maximum working pressure rating of 0.1 bar, it is well-suited for standard laboratory applications.
