HI1292D pH Electrode for direct soil measurement offers high-precision readings with a robust glass body and integrated temperature sensor.
Hanna HI1292D pH Electrode is a high-performance and specialized probe designed for accurate and reliable direct pH measurement in soil samples and soil solutions. Engineered for agricultural, environmental, and laboratory applications, this electrode delivers consistent and precise readings even in complex and heterogeneous soil matrices. Its durable glass body construction ensures excellent chemical resistance and long-term stability, making it suitable for both field use and controlled laboratory environments.
The electrode features a conical low temperature (LT) glass sensing tip (12 × 12 mm), specifically designed for easy penetration into soil and semi-solid samples. This design enhances responsiveness and ensures reproducible results during direct soil measurements and slurry testing. The advanced triple ceramic junction in the outer reference cell provides a high and stable electrolyte flow rate of 40–50 µL/h, minimizing clogging and ensuring consistent measurement accuracy in particulate-rich samples.
Equipped with a refillable single junction Ag/AgCl reference system, the HI1292D supports the use of 3.5M KCl + AgCl electrolyte, allowing easy maintenance and extended electrode life. The built-in temperature sensor enables automatic temperature compensation, ensuring accurate readings across varying environmental conditions. Additionally, the integrated amplifier improves signal stability and reduces electrical noise, enhancing performance during field measurements.
The electrode operates across a wide pH range of 0 to 12 and a temperature range of -5°C to 70°C, making it suitable for diverse soil testing applications. Its compact design, with a 120 mm body length, 175.5 mm overall length, and 12 mm diameter, ensures compatibility with standard laboratory setups. The 1 meter cable with a 7-pole DIN connector provides secure and flexible connectivity with compatible meters such as the HI99121 portable pH meter.
Widely used in agriculture, soil science research, environmental monitoring, geotechnical studies, and laboratory analysis, the Hanna HI1292D pH Electrodes is ideal for direct soil insertion, soil slurry testing, and routine soil pH monitoring. Its robust construction and advanced sensing technology make it an essential tool for professionals requiring high precision and repeatable soil pH measurements.
Enhance your soil analysis capabilities with Hanna’s advanced electrode technology, designed for durability, accuracy, and consistent performance in demanding field and laboratory applications.
