Hanna Instruments HI1343B PEI Body pH Electrode is a high-precision and durable sensor designed for accurate pH measurement in laboratory and demanding industrial environments, particularly where Tris buffer solutions are used. Constructed with a robust polyetherimide (PEI) body, this electrode offers excellent chemical resistance and mechanical strength, ensuring long-term reliability even in challenging analytical conditions.

The electrode features a mercury/mercury (I) chloride (Hg/Hg₂Cl₂) calomel reference system, which provides a stable reference potential without the presence of silver ions. This makes it especially suitable for applications where silver interference must be avoided, such as Tris buffer measurements and sensitive analytical procedures. The single ceramic junction ensures a consistent electrolyte flow rate of 15–20 µL/h, helping to prevent clogging while maintaining stable and repeatable readings.

Equipped with a high temperature spherical glass bulb (7.5 mm diameter), the HI1343B delivers accurate and responsive measurements across a pH range of 0 to 13 and an operating temperature range of 0 to 60°C (32 to 140°F). The refillable design allows the use of appropriate electrolyte solutions, enabling easy maintenance and extended electrode lifespan, making it a cost-effective solution for continuous laboratory use.

The electrode comes with a standard BNC connector and a 1 meter coaxial cable, ensuring secure and easy integration with a wide range of laboratory pH meters.
