The BL983315 is a compact panel-mounted process controller designed for measuring total dissolved solids (TDS) in process streams within the range of 0.0 to 199.9 ppm (mg/L). Users can operate the device in either automatic or manual dosing modes, where in automatic mode the dry contact relay is activated when readings exceed the set point, allowing control of dosing pumps or solenoid valves. It is also suitable for monitoring water quality in ion exchange, reverse osmosis (RO), and distillation systems. The controller uses a 0.5 conversion factor, where 1.0 µS/cm equals 0.5 ppm.
