Product Description
Martindale Abrasion Testers are used to determine the abrasion resistance of fabrics. They consist of two parts: an abrasive pad which is attached to a base plate. The fabric sample is placed between the two components and rubbed back and forth until it has been worn down. This test can be performed on any type of fabric including cotton, wool, polyester, nylon, silk, leather, etc.
- Measures the force needed to penetrate the fabric.
- Provides a permanent record of results.
