Product Description
Digital Vortex Flowmeters are used to measure flow rates of liquids or gases. They work by measuring the rate of change of vortex shedding frequency as a function of distance downstream from an obstruction. The Vortex Flowmeter uses a sensor which measures the time it takes for a vortical structure to shed once. This measurement is then converted into a volumetric flow rate using a calibration curve.
