Product Description

RS PRO 508-2704 Mini Turbine Flow Meter is engineered for high performance in industrial and laboratory environments requiring accurate flow measurement of aggressive chemicals and ultra-pure water.

Constructed with a totally non-metallic wetted material configuration, including a PVDF body and sapphire bearings, it ensures exceptional durability and resistance against corrosive fluids.

At its core, a precision turbine rotates freely on robust sapphire bearings embedded with over-moulded magnets. The rotation is detected externally by a Hall effect sensor that produces NPN/PNP pulse outputs compatible with various electronic display or recording devices.

The flow meter operates reliably within a temperature range from -25°C up to a maximum of 125°C, making it versatile for diverse applications. The inlet tubes are barbed to accept 8mm hoses, providing straightforward integration into existing systems.

Supplied with two metres of oil-resistant and screened cable, the device ensures noise protection and easy connectivity in demanding environments. Common industrial uses include drink dispensing, laboratory testing, cooling equipment flow monitoring, active flow alarms, and semiconductor plant liquid flow measurement.

The Flow Meter includes sapphire bearings for enhanced longevity and reliability. Non-metallic wetted materials such as PVDF and ceramic magnet provide chemical resistance. The Hall effect sensor offers precise pulse output for electronic integration.
