Fluke True RMS 2000 A Clamp Meter 355

The Fluke 355 True RMS Clamp Meter is intended for use by electricians and other professionals who design and/or install electric systems that have very high current flow through them. It can measure 2000 A (AC and DC), making it perfect for industrial machinery, motors, power distribution systems, and large loads. Restoration of Firm Services can be achieved with ease thanks to the Fluke 355’s large 58 mm jaw, which easily fits over thick conductors or groupings of conductors without having to disconnect any of the circuit conductors from their respective lugs.

Fluke also provides true RMS measurements so that the user receives an accurate reading at all times, even with non-linear loads. The function that captures inrush current when turning devices on, also called "inrush current," can be used to diagnose the power-in surge or starting current for a motor since an inductive load will draw more current than it actually consumes when it starts.

In addition to measuring high currents, the Fluke 355 can measure up to 1000 V AC/DC and can measure resistance and frequency, which reduces the number of tools required for installation.

The Fluke 355 is designed to meet safety standards of CAT IV 600 V and CAT III 1000 V when working in extremely demanding environments.
