The Leather Softness Tester LLST-A10 is also known as the Digital Display Portable Fabric Textile Softness Tester. It offers a (530 ± 10) g load and a (0.1 to 10) mm scale diameter. It is a unique way to use this device when testing without hiding the surface of the leather and without cutting the sample from the top of the test leather before the test. The material to be tested is sandwiched between test holes of known diameters, and then a certain load is applied through a small aperture on the fabric, reading the curvature around the scale pointer. It is used to determine the softness of leather with a non-destructive testing method.
