It features a built-in clock and calendar for time-stamped data recording, with sampling times adjustable from 1 second to 8 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds. Manual datalogging is also supported, allowing for location tagging. Data is stored on an SD card (1 GB to 16 GB) and can be directly downloaded to Excel without requiring additional software. The device allows for decimal point character selection, up to 9 channels of data input, and is powered by batteries or an AC adapter. It includes an LCD with backlight and RS232/USB computer interfaces.
