Piston Type Flow SwitchThe FS series flow switch is a rugged model & operates in any mounting position. As the liquid flow increases it displaces a magnetic piston which operates a hermetically sealed reed switch which is mounted externally. When flow decreases a stainless steel spring returns the piston to its original position and de-actuates the reed switch.The reed switch assembly is movable to allow the customer to set the cutoff flow rate as per his requirement provided it is within the range specified on the instrument. The adjustment does not effect the flow path, therefore pressure drop is not influenced when changing set-points. This model is ideally suited for high pressure applications.
