IDEM KL1-P Series Solenoid Interlock Switch KL1-P is a power to unlock Safety Interlock Switch designed for reliable guarding of sliding or hinged machine guards. Operating at 24V AC/DC supply, it features a robust plastic housing with IP67 ingress protection suitable for harsh industrial environments.

The device includes 1 Normally Open (NO) safety contact rated at 1.2A, screw-type terminals for secure wiring, and an M20 conduit entry for ease of installation. Its dimensions are 143mm length, 63mm width, and 41.5mm depth, providing a compact form factor.

This switch features a tongue-operated, positively driven switching contact system with a tamper-resistant key. It incorporates a power to unlock solenoid mechanism which locks the guard until power is applied, enhancing personnel safety around hazardous machinery. The device’s medium holding force of 1400N ensures secure guard locking, while two emergency manual release points provide quick disengagement when needed.
