Current Output Analog Proximity Sensor The current output analog proximity sensor is a low-cost solution that can be used to detect the proximity of objects. This device uses the principle of electromagnetic induction to measure the distance between two coils. When an object passes through the gap between the coils, the magnetic field changes, causing a change in voltage at the coil's terminals. By measuring this voltage change, we are able to calculate the distance between the coils.
