MikroElektronika MIKROE-2038 DAC 3 Click Add On Board Signal Conversion Development Kit is designed for precise analogue output applications. Featuring the MCP4726 12-bit DAC IC from Microchip, this kit supports operation at both 3.3 V and 5 V power supplies, making it adaptable to various development environments. Communication with the target microcontroller unit (MCU) is through the mikroBUS™ I2C interface, enabling standard, fast, and high-speed modes.
This DAC3 click board incorporates integrated EEPROM within the MCP4726 to store DAC register settings and configurations, ensuring persistent setup without the need to reconfigure at power cycles. The device provides voltage output screw terminals for straightforward connection in testing and prototyping scenarios.
Its applications range broadly across industrial and laboratory uses such as motor control, sensor calibration, setting points, offset trimming, and PC peripheral interface development. This versatile add-on board is supported by all MikroElektronika compilers, facilitating quick and easy software integration.
The standard mikroBUS™ pinout includes SPI, I2C, analogue inputs, UART, interrupt, PWM, reset, and power supply pins, making it compatible with various MikroElektronika microcontroller development boards. The click board is shipped with header strips pre-soldered for convenience.
The kit includes a DAC 3 Click add-on board with MCP4726 DAC IC. Supports I2C interface modes with speeds from 100 kHz to 3.4 MHz. Operates on flexible power supply voltages of 3.3 V and 5 V. Integrated EEPROM retains configuration and DAC register settings.
Equipped with voltage output screw terminals for ease of use. Compatible with mikroBUS™ sockets on MikroElektronika boards. Ideal for motor control, sensor calibration, and offset trimming applications.
This signal conversion development tool is suitable for industrial, educational, and laboratory environments requiring accurate DAC control. It supports rapid development cycles when paired with MikroElektronika microcontroller boards.
