Product Description
STMicroelectronics STM32L152C-DISCO Discovery MCU Development Kit provides a comprehensive platform for evaluating the STM32L152RCT6 microcontroller based on the 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 core running at 32MHz. This development kit features ultra-low power capabilities with 256KB ECC Flash memory, 32KB RAM, and 8KB ECC EEPROM, making it ideal for low power embedded applications.
The kit includes multiple serial communication interfaces such as USB, USART, SPI, I²C, and I²S, allowing development flexibility. It integrates an LCD driver capable of handling 8x28 or 4x32 segments and supports up to 23 capacitive sensing channels for touch applications. A pre-programmed bootloader and on-board ST-LINK/V2 debugger with SWD connector facilitate easy programming and debugging.
Power options include USB VBus and external +5Vdc, with additional external supply lines at +3V and +5V for peripheral modules. The kit supports IDD current measurements enabling precise power consumption analysis for ultra-low-power modes including backup registers and multiple wakeup pins.
The included 6-digit and 4-bar alphanumeric LCD display enhances user interface options, supplemented by 2 status LEDs and 2 user LEDs as well as reset and pushbutton controls. Linear touch sensors and four additional touchpads extend the interactive capabilities, suitably supporting dynamic power modes down to 230μA/MHz.
