RS PRO 902-8353 5 Core Power Cable is a high-quality electrical installation cable with 2.5mm² cable cross-sectional area and a durable grey polyvinyl chloride sheath rated for 70 °C maximum operating temperature and 500 V voltage. This flame retardant cable is designed for use in dry, damp, or wet indoor locations such as residential buildings, commercial premises, industrial facilities, shops, and farms.

The cable construction features five solid copper conductors compliant with IEC 60228 Class 1, surrounded by color-coded PVC insulation for easy wiring identification. The cores are packed within a mechanically tough PVC jacket that provides protection against chemical exposure and physical damage. The cable also contains a filler to maintain a round shape and improve insulation quality.

This cable supports mains power installations and lighting wiring layouts, suitable for installation in or on plaster, brickwork, or concrete, but is not recommended for embedding in compacted concrete.
