RS PRO IP66 Die Cast Aluminium Enclosure is engineered for applications requiring robust protection, manufactured from diecast aluminium (ALSi12) with a natural silver finish. This enclosure features dimensions of 100 mm height, 280 mm length, and 180 mm width, and is IP66 rated to prevent ingress of dust and water, making it ideal for demanding industrial and outdoor environments.

The enclosure consists of a body and lid with a neoprene continuous O-Ring gasket and captive stainless steel lid screws ensuring a watertight seal stable between -40 to +100°C. It also includes four copper plated earthing screws for reliable grounding. The walls have a thickness of 3 mm providing substantial mechanical protection while maintaining a lightweight form factor.

This product is compliant with multiple international standards including RoHS, UL 508A, UL 50, UL 50E, CE, MIL-STD-810G for mechanical vibration and shock, ASTM B117, IEC 62262, and IK 60068-2-75, bearing testimony to its reliability and durability.
