Alpha Wire 78308 SL005 Ecogen Ecocable Mini Control Cable is a premium screened control cable featuring 8 cores of stranded tin copper wire with a conductor cross-section of 0.09mm² (28 AWG). It is designed with a modified polyphenylene ether (mPPE) jacket and insulation that provides outstanding dielectric properties, is halogen free, and offers excellent temperature resistance from -40°C to +80°C.
The cable's nominal outside diameter is 4.19 mm with a jacket thickness of 0.38 mm and insulation thickness of 0.18 mm, making it smaller and lighter than comparable PVC cables. The Supra-Shield foil plus braid shielding combines triple-layer aluminium/polyester/aluminium foil with tinned copper braid, ensuring superior electromagnetic interference (EMI) performance for sensitive industrial and communication equipment.
This control cable is fully recyclable with a specific gravity of 1.03 and low outgassing characteristics, contributing to environmentally conscious industrial practices.
