Product Description
Fibox PCT 081606 ENCLOSURE is a transparent polycarbonate enclosure measuring 55 mm height, 160 mm length, and 80 mm width, designed for industrial and electrical applications. It offers IP66 and IP67 ingress protection, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments. The enclosure features a foamed-in-place PUR gasket and stainless steel cover screws ensuring water tightness and durability.
The enclosure body is mechanically robust with an injection moulded plastic thread system that prevents corrosion and sticking of screws. Its outer surface is smooth and free of gate marks, facilitating custom labeling, decals, or screen printing. Multiple low-profile mounting points maximize usable internal space, and bevelled edges lend a modern appearance.
The Fibox PCT range is electrically insulated, halogen free, UV resistant, and chemically resistant to typical environmental factors. Its IK07 impact resistance and UL945V flammability ratings ensure suitability for demanding environments. This enclosure can house DIN rail mounted terminal blocks and is widely used in instrumentation, medical tools, transportation equipment, industrial controls, and lighting systems.
