Product Description

RS PRO 797-4999 Pressure Sensor offers reliable current output signal with gauge pressure reading from -1 bar minimum to 24 bar maximum. The device is housed in a rugged stainless steel 316L casing, protected with Viton O-ring seals and a ceramic Al2O3 diaphragm for excellent durability and chemical resistance.

It employs a piezo-resistive thick film ceramic sensor ensuring high precision and excellent media compatibility, enabling its use in measuring air, gas, hydraulic fluids, liquids, and water in demanding industrial, process control, and automation environments.

The sensor operates with a minimum supply voltage of 9V and a maximum of 32V DC, featuring DIN terminal connections and a threaded BSP 1/4 mount. Its IP65 rating protects it against dust ingress and water jets, extending its applicability in harsh environments.

Designed to operate across a temperature range of -20°C to 135°C, it guarantees high accuracy of ±0.25 percent and a long operational life spanning over 100 million cycles, with insulation resistance exceeding 50M Ohms at 50V DC.
