RS PRO presents the IP65 flanged, shielded die cast aluminium enclosure, model IP65, with external dimensions of 76.5 mm height, 168.7 mm length, and 101.6 mm width, designed for protective housing of industrial and electronic equipment. This enclosure is crafted from ADC 12 aluminium die cast alloy, commonly known as LM24 to BS1490 standards, featuring a natural finish without external coatings, making it suitable for high-temperature environments up to 250°C without adverse effects to the structure or material.

The enclosure's lid is precision lipped with a 1.5° taper per side, ensuring a tight and secure fit to the base, enhancing EMI/RFI shielding capabilities beyond 40dB at 10MHz and 76dB at 100 kHz. This shielding is critical for protecting sensitive electrical and instrumentation equipment from electromagnetic disturbances.

Mounting flanges integrated into the base allow for straightforward wall installation, making the enclosure ideal for application areas requiring secure mounting. Fastening is done with M3.5 x 9 mm Supadrive countersunk stainless steel screws, located outside the internal space to maximize usable volume.
