Product Description

Wurth Elektronik 7427246 Openable Flat Cable Ferrite is engineered for RFI suppression on flat cable cores with up to 26 wires, featuring internal dimensions of 28.5 mm height and 34 mm width. Its openable split sleeve design, known as STAR-FLAT, prevents cable crimping and slides, ensuring secure and stable placement of ribbon cables. The ferrite sleeve cannot be opened without the STAR-TEC safety key (sold separately), introducing patented protection against unauthorized access.

The ferrite sleeve is constructed of 4W620 material with a UL94-V0 plastic casing, offering durability and resistance to breakage. It is RoHS compliant and operates reliably in temperature environments ranging from -25°C to +105°C, making it suitable for diverse industrial, medical, computing, and power cable applications.
