RS PRO 324-1793 Type J Thermocouple is a highly reliable temperature sensor designed for industrial and laboratory applications requiring accurate temperature measurement in the range of 0 °C to 400 °C. It features a stainless steel probe, 6 mm in diameter and 20 mm in length, enclosed within a rugged 316 stainless steel sheath resistant to corrosion and wear.
The sensor utilizes a welded grounded hot junction which ensures a fast response time of 0.7 seconds by allowing efficient heat transfer to the thermocouple junction. The adjustable bayonet probe includes a spring-loaded latch mechanism with a 2-slot bayonet connector enabling secure and precise immersion depth adjustment up to 250 mm.
