The adjustable bayonet probe incorporates a 250 mm compression spring and a 2-slot bayonet fixing cap, enabling users to easily modify the immersion length of the sensor for versatile installation. This mounting method ensures a secure fit within equipment, maintaining positive pressure at the probe tip for accurate temperature sensing.

The thermocouple employs a grounded hot junction design where the chromel and alumel wires are welded to the stainless steel sheath, allowing for a fast response time of approximately 0.7 seconds. The cable consists of glass fibre insulated wires surrounded by a stainless steel braid, providing mechanical protection and longevity, with a total cable length of 2500 mm.
