Hammond 1550WQBK is a rugged and watertight die cast enclosure manufactured from high-quality aluminium alloy. It is designed to provide durable protection for electronic instruments and components used in industrial and electrical applications.
The enclosure offers IP66 ingress protection against dust and powerful water jets, together with IK08 impact resistance rating for mechanical toughness. Its lap joint construction prevents dust and water ingress while offering improved electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) shielding when water-tight gaskets are not installed.
It is available with two finish options: a natural vibrant aluminium finish that provides a smooth surface free of sharp edges, and a black satin polyester powder-coated finish that ensures a lasting appearance even after machining.
