Hammond IP66 black natural aluminium enclosure model IP66 from the 1550 Series is a highly durable general-purpose enclosure measuring 51.1 mm in height, 115.3 mm in length, and 84.8 mm in width. Crafted from rugged die cast aluminium alloy, it offers superior EMI/RFI shielding and mechanical protection for electronic instruments and industrial equipment.
The enclosure is available in two finishes: a vibrant natural aluminium finish providing a smooth, edge-free surface, and a textured black satin polyester powder paint coating that ensures a lasting finish even after machining. Black screws are included to maintain the visual quality of the assembled product.
This model features a lap joint construction that prevents ingress of dust and splashing water, delivering an IP66 rating for water and dust resistance and an IK08 rating for impact resistance. The ethyl vinyl acetate gasket material ensures a tight seal enhancing the enclosure's protective capabilities.
