Product Description
Microchip EV02N47A Development Kit consists of the EVB-LAN8770M_MC evaluation board which acts as a 100BASE-T1 (single-pair Ethernet) to 100BASE-TX (Fast Ethernet) media converter used to evaluate the LAN8770 100BASE-T1 Ethernet transceiver.
The 100BASE-TX side of the board includes a KSZ8081MNX transceiver and a conventional RJ45 jack with integrated magnetics, supporting auto-negotiation and auto-crossover for seamless connectivity.
The 100BASE-T1 interface uses a LAN8770M transceiver connected via a 2-wire screw-down terminal block, with an optional 4-pin connector footprint available. The board is powered via the USB interface and includes a USB Configuration and Monitor tool based on a PIC18LF MCU, enabling easy setup and diagnostics.
LED indicators provide real-time status for speed, link, and activity on both 100BASE-T1 and 100BASE-TX physical layers, aiding in development and troubleshooting.
