TE Connectivity SCL-3/4-0 heat shrink tubing is a semi-rigid, polyolefin-based tubing designed to provide one-step moisture-proof encapsulation of electrical connections, including wire splices, breakouts, and electronic components. The outer wall shrinks above 135°C, while the inner meltable wall liquefies at 100°C and flows into gaps, creating a rigid, tough, and homogenous covering upon cooling.
This model features a sleeve diameter of 19.1 mm and a length of 300 mm, with a shrink ratio of 3:1 that reduces the diameter down to 8 mm when heated. The tubing offers exceptional dielectric strength between 240-410 kV/cm, making it ideal for high-voltage insulation tasks.
