RS PRO IP66 Silver Lid Die Cast Aluminium Enclosure, model IP66, measuring 180 mm (H) x 600 mm (L) x 310 mm (W), is designed for demanding industrial and electrical applications requiring high ingress protection. Manufactured from die cast aluminium (ALSi12) with a natural silver finish, this enclosure provides excellent resistance to harsh environmental conditions.

The enclosure features an IP66 rating, offering protection from dust ingress and high-pressure water jets, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It consists of a lid and base secured by captive stainless steel screws, ensuring durability and ease of assembly. A continuous Neoprene O-Ring gasket offers watertight sealing and temperature stability from -40°C to +100°C.

Four copper-plated earthing screws facilitate grounding for electrical safety. The enclosure has a wall thickness of 3 mm and is unshielded, optimized for general-purpose use such as housing electrical components, button switching elements, telecommunication equipment, and network junction boxes.
