RS PRO 814-0153 Type T Exposed Junction Thermocouple features a 2 meter probe length and cable insulated with durable PFA material, designed for industrial and laboratory temperature measurement applications. It accurately senses temperatures up to 250°C with a welded exposed junction for rapid response.
This thermocouple operates on the Seebeck effect principle, consisting of two dissimilar metal wires joined at the measuring (hot) junction. The welded exposed junction optimizes sensitivity and response time by placing the junction directly into the process medium, making it ideal for measuring flowing or static non-corrosive gases.
