The Fluidyne P.D. flowmeters are based on the time-tested oscillating piston mechanism. A single moving component in the assembly ensures extremely reliable operation for long periods. The use of state-of-the-art solid-state magnetic sensors, and ultra-lowpowered electronics, provides for all the simplicity of amechanical P.D. meter and the reliability of electronicsensing and readouts. Fluidynes Positive Displacement flowmeters do not require straight lengths or stable and laminar flow profiles because volume is directly measured and not inferred from flow rate in line
