Product Description

ABB 1SCA022513R8510 3-Pole Switch Disconnector IP65, rated for 315A switching current and 160 kW switching power, is a robust electrical isolation device designed for use in industrial, commercial, and utility applications.

The device is enclosed in a galvanised steel enclosure with a protective polyester coating, offering excellent resistance to UV light and ingress of dust and water, certified with an IP65 rating making it suitable for outdoor installations.

For enhanced safety, the enclosure includes a gas pressure relief feature that protects users in the event of internal arcing. The door is earthed via hinges, and the enclosure supports multiple cable entry configurations including blank, ring-flange, or C-flange types, adaptable for various wiring setups including top/bottom or bottom/bottom cable entries.

The switch disconnector features a black handle that can be padlocked for up to three padlocks, facilitating secure lockout/tagout procedures. Auxiliary contacts are included, allowing up to 2 normally open (NO) and 2 normally closed (NC) contacts, useful for signaling and control circuits.

It has a minimum operating temperature of 0°C and is compliant with IEC 60947-1 standards, ensuring reliable electrical isolation performance. The screw clamp terminal type ensures secure and reliable conductor connections.
