StarTech.com's SATDOCKU3S is a USB 3.0 hard drive docking station designed to provide easy and instant access to 2.5 and 3.5 inch SATA hard drives and solid state drives (HDDs/SSDs). Supporting SATA I, II, and III drives with transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps, it offers high throughput for data-intensive industrial and commercial applications.

The docking station enables users to connect large-capacity drives (tested up to 4TB for 3.5" and 1TB for 2.5" drives) to desktop or laptop computers via a single USB 3.0 SuperSpeed port or USB 2.0 port when necessary. Its plug-and-play, hot-swap capability supports efficient workflows without system reboot, making it ideal for data recovery specialists, IT technicians, and backup operations.

The unit incorporates a patented drive ejection mechanism, combined power switch, and status LEDs, enhancing usability and safety. Compact and lightweight, the dock features a top-loading design ideal for workspaces requiring quick drive swapping without external enclosures.
