Product Description

Brainboxes ED-560 is a high-performance PLC I/O analogue module designed to provide 4 analogue outputs with versatile control via Ethernet. It supports DIN rail mounting to fit standard industrial automation panels and is robust against harsh environments with an operating temperature range up to 80°C.

This module can be controlled using Modbus TCP or simple ASCII commands, accessible remotely over TCP/IP networks. Configuration and security are managed conveniently through a web browser interface, with full backward compatibility via Windows COM port emulation for existing legacy systems.

The device offers 1500VRMS magnetic isolation between the Ethernet interface and analogue outputs, ensuring operational safety against electrical interference. The outputs are selectable as current or voltage types, allowing flexibility in controlling a variety of field devices.

Typical applications include control and switching of AC/DC motors, activation of relays and pump control, voltage regulation, and operation of LEDs, bulbs, heaters, solenoids, and air conditioning systems within industrial, HVAC, and manufacturing environments.
