Product Description
The Sensirion SEK-SVM4x Evaluation Kit is a comprehensive air quality sensor development tool that integrates a SVM40 sensor module equipped with the SGP40 VOC sensor and SHT40 humidity and temperature sensor. It offers precise air quality measurements with a compact design operating on a supply voltage from 3.0 to 5.5 V. This new kit is designed to facilitate air quality sensing development with I²C and UART digital output signals for signal processing.
The included SVM40 development board features these sensors with an on-board microcontroller for enhanced signal processing capabilities. The kit comes with a USB-UART cable and jumper wires, enabling straightforward connection to embedded platforms such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi. This makes it ideal for prototyping, development, and evaluation of air quality sensors.
Device-to-device variations are controlled for VOC and NOx measurements, with VOC variations within ±15 index points or percentage and NOx variations within ±50 index points or percentage, whichever is larger. The sensor operates reliably over a recommended humidity range of 0 to 90 %RH and temperature range of -10 to +50 °C. Min/max operating conditions extend slightly to avoid condensation.
