RS PRO IP65 die cast aluminium enclosure is a high-quality, shielded general purpose enclosure designed for housing industrial, electronic, and electrical components requiring protection from electromagnetic interference, dust, and water ingress.

This enclosure is manufactured from ADC 12 aluminium die cast alloy, known for its excellent mechanical strength and high temperature resistance up to 250°C without structural compromise. It features a silver-coloured lid and body with a natural finish and no external coating, but can be powder coated if desired.

The lid is precision lipped with a 1.5° taper per side, ensuring a secure fit to the base. Fastening is achieved using supplied M3.5 x 9 mm Supadrive countersunk stainless steel screws, placed outside the inner enclosure space to maximize usable volume.

The enclosure provides superior EMI/RFI shielding performance, with screening better than 40dB at 10MHz and 76dB at 100 kHz, making it suitable for sensitive electronic applications in industrial or laboratory environments. Its IP65 rating confirms robust protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, ideal for harsher conditions.

Dimensions are precisely 55.1 mm height, 114.7 mm length, and 89.7 mm width, facilitating easy integration into custom setups or racks. It complies with RoHS environmental standards and is produced in Taiwan, Province of China.
